War Arena
Battle, Nebraska

Designed and built in 2038, the War Arena is noted for its extensive team dueling events. Everything from pedestrian to cargo hovercraft have fought in this arena, though regular duels have been held from time to time. It is part of the Flashfire Circuit and is a favorite stop on the Collegiate Circuit.

War Arena Notes:
The arena is paved and has goals at either end. In the middle is a 'no-man's land' neutral area. Participating teams begin on either end of the arena, combat only taking place when a vehicle enters no-man's land. In three team events the third team starts in no-man's land and combat beings when one vehicle of either of the other two teams enters no-man's land.
The arena walls are 60 DP. Huge gates (10 DP each) are behind each goal. No-man's land is sometimes filled with debris, obstacles, and wrecks from previous events.

War Arena Special Events:
Moto-Ball: See the Arena Book (Retama Duel Center) for details. Ramplates and bumper triggers are banned for most Moto-Ball events.

Hoverball: See ADQ 7-2 for details.

Capture the Flag: A flag is placed in each goal. Each team must try to capture the other team's flag while defending their own. Once a flag is removed (usually by hand) it can be passed from vehicle to vehicle or person to person. The team that gets their opponent's flag to their own goal first, or stops their opponents from doing the same, wins.

Crossfire: Each player secretly draws a name from one of the opposing team, becoming the player's first target once combat begins. Once that target is eliminated, the player can move on to another of the opposing team. The event is so named because it's common for players to be hit by crossfire from either team.
