This racetrack was constructed in 2049 next to the Bill Grush Memorial Arena, near the old site of the original Speedway fifty years earlier. Part of the Flashfire Circuit, the Sunset Speedway runs a regular season from April to October. Featured vehicles include cycles, trikes, cars, and sprint cars.
Track Features:
Outer walls are 15 feet high and have 120 DP. Inner walls are 3 feet
high and have 40 DP. TV towers stand 60 feet high and have 40 DP. Grandstand
capacity is 10,000. The track is a dirt and gravel mix and is considered
off-road. There is banking in the corners and in the middle of the large
turn (-1D to maneuvers). Overall track length is .35 miles.

Sunday - Special Events.
Monday & Tuesday - Closed.
Wednesday - Practice Sessions.
Thursday - Time Trials.
Friday - Amateur/Challenge Night.
Saturday - AADA Divisionals.
Track Rules:
No dropped weapons, temporary speed boosters, turrets, and EWPs allowed
on the track.
Special Events:
Twilight Racing - Held at dusk or dawn, the racers battle the approaching
darkness or light as well as each other. Prestige is doubled.
24 Hour Racing - Usually held on the 4th of July, the race goes on 24
hours regardless of weather. Each team has three drivers and combat takes
place during one lap once an hour (as determined by race officals). Minimal
repairs can be done during the race, and tire replacement is allowed. Prestige
is quadrupled.
