Prairie Meadows Racetrack
Altoona, Iowa
The Prairie Meadows Racetrack (PMR) was built on the old horse racing track
in 2049, located near the Adventureland Amusement Park. It was modeled after
the World of Off-Road Racetrack, though it is much larger. Car, cycle, trike
and hovercraft events are held in a regular season from April to October.
Paramutual betting is allowed on all events, and the track is open year round.
Snowmobile events are held from December to February. The PMR is part of the
L'Outrance Circuit.

Track Features:
The outer walls are 15 feet high and have 150 DP. Inner walls are 3 feet
high have 50 DP. The track has no banking and consists of dirt and gravel,
making it an off-road surface. The two TV towers stand 60 feet high and have
50 DP each. Each corner of the track has a universally turreted VMG w/100
points of armor. Grandstand capacity is 10,000.

Monday and Tuesday - Closed.
Wednesday - Amateur Night.
Thursday - Challenge Night.
Friday - Time Trials.
Saturday - Special Events.
Sunday - AADA Divisionals.
Special Events:
Tournaments - Local, state, and regional level events are held at the Prairie
Meadows Racetrack. Prestige is multiplied by the tournament level (local
x1, state x2, and regional x3).
Snowmobile Racing - From December to February the PMR offers snowmobile
racing. Division 5 to 40 racing is supported. Prestige is doubled.
