Oshkosh Aero Arena
Oshkosh, Wisconsin
One of the best known aero arenas in the United States, the Oshkosh is
the site of the annual Aeronautic Research and Development Showcase.
The Oshkosh is one of two aero arenas in L'Outrance circuit. It is also
among the oldest air exhibition venues, dating back to the 20th
century. The arena features duelling and racing in a regular schedule
from April to October.

Arena Features:
The arena floor is grass and is considered an off-road surface. The
central TV/defense tower is a permanent structure, stands 150 feet high
and has 100 DP. Four pairs of universally turreted VMGs are on top of
tower, one pair on each corner. Each of the four corner towers are
temporary and can be moved on or off the field in fifteen minutes.Each
temporary tower is 150 feet high, had 30 DP, and has no defenses.

Special Events:
Air Show - Each July Oshkosh holds a national air show. Pilots and
planes come from all over, including international participants,
celebrities and politicians. The week-long event features races,
aircraft exhibits, and aerial demonstrations. Prestige is doubled. The
Aeronautic Research and Development Showcase is held in conjunction
with the Air Show.
