Tripod-Mounted MFRP (TMFRP): To-hit 9, $550, 1 shot, 1D6 per
rocket, 6 GE if hand-carried, 1 space an 50 lbs if carried as cargo.
This weapon is a tripod-mounted version of the Six-Shooter
MFRP. It launches six small rockets which doe 1D6 damage each (separate
to-hit rolls for each). The TMFRP may use a laser targeting scope and the
laser guidance link. The guidance may come from the targeting scope or
from a targeting laser on a nearby vehicle. Note that the TMFRP is reloadable.
Reloading it takes 12 turns.
As an option, the TMFRP may be made disposable. This option increases the price to $1,000. This disposable TMFRP is made of a combustible plastic which burns at a very high temperature. The plastic is ignited by a magnesium self-destruct charge that has a timer that can be set for a delay of 0-20 seconds. A setting of 0 indicates that a disposable TMFRP will self-destruct as soon as it is fired. When ignited, a disposable TMFRP has a fire modifier of 3 and a burn duration of 5. Any targeting device attached to it will be destroyed by the heat.
A TMFRP may use any type of rocket ammunition (incendiary, armor-piercing
, etc) at the usual costs.
Solvent Spray: $500, 25 lbs, 2 spaces, 25 shots, 2 DP, CPS $20,
WPS 2. Loaded Cost $1,000. Loaded Weight 75 lbs. Creates a 1" x 1/2" counter.
A Solvent Spray creates a cloud that resembles smoke.
The cloud will last for 10 turns, and is composed of fine droplets of a
powerful acidic solvent. Vehicular armor (including wheel hubs and wheelguards)
and tires take 1D6 points of damage of each location for each turn of exposure
to the cloud. The GM has discretion as to how much of a vehicle comes into
contact with the cloud.
Pedestrians are affected by the cloud as if by tear gas. The cloud of
solvent is highly flammable. Any fire or explosion in the cloud will cause
it to ignite, creating an explosion equal to a hand grenade. The sprayer
is a volatile weapon for purposes of vehicular fire and explosions.
Military Communications Center: $175,000, 100 lbs, 1 space, 1
DP, 6 GE is carried. It must have an external source of power to work.
This device functions as a long-range radio communications
relay, a satellite communications center, a graphics/facsimile transceiver
and a computer modem. All communications traffic of any unit of up to battalion
size can be relayed among the participating units at ranges of up to 300
miles. All communications routed through the Comm Center are automatically
encrypted. The Comm Center has a limited-power radio jammer that can blank
out all radio communications in a 5-mile radius.
The Comm Center can receive and transmit voice,
video, graphics, and computer data through any communications satellite
network. It has 10 holocube slots for on-board data storage, and is cleared
for data of any classification level.
