Double Sleeper Cabover $22,000 4,400 lbs 13,100 lbs 29 $40/18 lbs
Double Sleeper Longnose $26,000 4,600 lbs 15,000 lbs 32 $44/19 lbs
HR Sleeper Longnose $28,000 4,700 lbs 15,000 lbs 32 $44/19 lbs
HR Double Sleeper Longnose $35,000 5,100 lbs 16,200 lbs 37 $50/20 lbs
The HR (High-Rise) Sleeper Longnose increases the capacity of a tractor by adding an additional sleeping area above the cab. If the tractor is streamlined, a High-Rise Sleeper Longnose acts as if it had a windjammer attached. A HR Sleeper tractor of any type may not have turrets, rocket platforms or EWPs mounted on its top. A Double Sleeper tractor has two sleeping areas at the back of the cab, instead of one. Due to the extra length of a Double Sleeper, the counter size is 1/4" longer than normal.

Tractor Accessories

Aerodynamic Cab Extenders: 25% cab cost, 20% cab weight, 0 spaces.
Cab Extenders (CEXs) are mounted on both sides of a tractor between the tractor and the trailer. They are designed to minimize the air resistance caused by the gap between a tractor and a trailer. When mounted, they improve fuel efficiency of a gas engine or the range of an electric power plant by 10%. The Extenders are hinged to allow maneuvers up to a D3. Any greater maneuver will render the Extenders inoperative until they are physically returned to their normal positions. Cab Extenders have 4 DP, and may be armored at a cost of $25 and 4 lbs per point (maximum of 10 points each). They will protect the fifth wheel from damage until they are restored.

Tapered Nose: 10% body cost, no weight, reduces interior space by 1.
A cab with a tapered nose has the benefit of a -1 targeting penalty from the front. It also gains 5% bonus to its MPG/Energy Consumption rating. It may be used with sloping and streamlining.

Double-Wide Tires: 2.5x tire cost, 1.75x tire weight, 1.75x tire DP.
This type of tire is used to take the place of two tires in paired-tire position (rear axle of a 6-wheeled car or the rear two axles of a 12-wheel tractor). They are available in all types, and may have any type of tire modification (fireproofing, radial, etc).

Trailer Accessories

Axle-Less Trailer: 100% trailer cost (after all modifications for CA frames, streamlining, etc), +30% to trailer weight, increases internal trailer spaces by 15%.
This type of trailer has no axles. Instead, it mounts the wheels on independent wheel plates directly attached to the chassis of the trailer. These plates carry the load of the trailer and absorb road stress through a special system of shock absorbers and airbags incorporated into the body of the trailer. An Axle-Less Trailer has its undercarriage only one foot above the road surface. This gives the trailer its increased capacity.

Vehicular Accessories

Side Skirting: 50x the cost and 10x weight of 1 point of vehicular armor.
A Side Skirting package increases the top speed of any vehicle it is mounted on by 10 mph. It does this by causing the vehicles to hug the ground more than is usual. It must be mounted with a spoiler/airdam combination to work. The speed increase is figured before the benefit of streamlining is applied.

Secondary Spoiler: 20x the cost and 5x the weight of 1 point of vehicular armor.
A Secondary Spoiler is attached to the roof of a vehicle directly in front of the rear window. When used with a spoiler/airdam combination, the vehicle has a -1 to all crash table rolls. Secondary Spoilers are destroyed as if they were a regular spoiler.

High-Rise Intake: 5% base engine cost, no additional weight or space.
This item is an extension of the vehicle's body above the hood or trunk which serves to funnel air directly to the engine. It allows the engine to run cooler and produce more power (increase power factors by 5%). The intake is not destroyed until the top armor is gone. A High-Rise Intake allows the top armor of a vehicle to be targeted at a -6. High-Rise Intakes may be mounted on all types of cars and racing vehicles.

Rain Tires: 200% tire cost, no additional weight.
Rain Tires have one or more deep grooves in the surface of the tires, in addition to the normal tread configuration. These grooves funnel water away from the tread surface, giving increased traction during wet conditions. This has the effect of eliminating rain-related hazards.

Multiple-Range Transmission: 2x combined chassis & body cost, no space or weight for a vehicle with a gas engine (300 lbs & 2 spaces for a vehicle with an electric engine).
This type of transmission has two additional settings (overdrive & underdrive). The overdrive setting increases the engine's power factors by 25% for purposes of acceleration and maximum top speed. The underdrive setting doubles the engine's power factors for purposes of maximum load and towing capacity. It takes a firing action to change settings. Changing the setting at any speed greater than 55 mph is a D1 hazard. This hazard also causes a roll on the engine damage table.
