TEN-WHEELERS

Ten-wheeled vehicles (trucks and mini-buses) are most commonly employed as passenger carriers and medium-duty cargo haulers. These vehicles are popular with the smaller trucking companies and passenger lines because three or four can be purchased for the price of one well-equipped bus or truck. A ten-wheeler should be treated with caution because it can carry enough firepower to intantly destroy almost any smaller vehicle.

PERCHERON
The Percheron is DKI Automotive's first entry into the 10-wheeler market. This vehicle is intended for use as a short-run cargo transport. The Percheron's armor really isn't suited for use on the highway, so it will often be accompanied by escort vehicles or link up with a convoy. A "Q-ship" version is also available. It trades the cargo capacity for more armor and weapons. Common Q-ship configurations include linked blast cannons, linked ATGs, linked VFRPs w/ laser guidance, a single front-mounted 75-mm TG, or an increased dropped-weapons load. The standard Percheron and its Q-ship version are exactly identical, so approach with caution.

IMPERIAL
The Imperial is a spacious, well-armored RV costing under $100,000. Private livery services often use it to transport a few high-paying passengers on inter-city runs. A word of caution for any one thinking of attacking this bus; Although the Imperial isn't big on offense, people who own one can usually afford several escort vehicles.

Imperial: Mini-bus, x-hvy chassis, small truck power plant w/ upgrades, 10 FP solid truck tires, driver & gunner, 4 passengers, universally-turreted AC w/ extra magazine, HDFOJ (B), anti-theft system w/ 8 PDGs, HrSwc, radar, LD radio, tinted/no-paint windows, galley, passenger accommodations (for 4), velvet glove trimmings, HD shocks, HD brakes, 6 10-pt FP wheel hubs, 6 10-pt FP wheelguards, FP Armor: F55, B55, R45, L45, T35, U25. CANNON COLLIDER
The Cannon Collider is a well-armored mini-bus employed to charge barricades and blast them to pieces. Never attack this vehicle from the front. The front armor is heavy enough to stop several shots from a tank gun. The addition of a large drop-spike plate is an unpleasant surprise for tailgaters. The best way to attack a Cannon Collider is from the side.

STORMFRONT
This mini-bus is named the "Stormfront" because it can hit its opponents like a line of thunderstorms. This vehicle's primary offensive power is provided by a turreted VMG and a pair of front-mounted ATGs. The lethal dropped-weapons package spells certain death for any tires that encounter it. The only way to safely engage this vehicle is from the sides at range.

PARKWAY PUSHER
The New Omaha Metropolitan Transportation Authority recently added the Parkway Pusher to its fleet of buses. The Parkway Pusher is well-armored and carries a heavy ram plate. A pair of turreted HMGs is sufficient to discourage most attacks. The dropped-weapons package is designed to discourage attacks by pedestrians and people who like to tailgate. It also has the advantage of not damaging the road surface.

Parkway Pusher: Mini-bus, x-hvy chassis, small truck power plant, 10 PR truck tires, driver & gunner, 6 passengers, 2 HMGs w/ HD ammo in universal turret, 3 linked SDs w/ explosive spikes (1 R, 1 L, 1 B), 3 SSs w/ tear gas loads (1 R, 1 L, 1 B) linked to SSs, HrSwc, infrared sighting system, fire extinguisher, tool kit, 6 10-pt wheelguards, Armor: F60 (ram plate), B45, R45, L45, T45, U33.
