Moscow Race-o-Rama

A race track built at the turn of the Millennium, it was abandoned during the Food Riots and wrecked during the Dark Years. It was rebuilt in 2050 to accommodate the increase in racing events in Russia. A regular season is run from May to October. Some winter events are held when the weather permits. The Race-o-Rama is part of the Red Star Circuit.

Track Features:
Outer walls stand 15 feet high and have 150 DP. Inner walls stand 3 feet high and have 50 DP. The track is a smooth surface with no banking. Overall track length is .52 of a mile and the grandstands hold 20,000. Dropped weapons, turrets, and EWPs are not permitted.
    Featured vehicles are cars, racing bodies, cycles, trikes, and hovercraft.

Schedule:
Monday - Closed.
Tuesday - Practice Sessions.
Wednesday - Amateur Night.
Thursday - Closed.
Friday - Time Trials.
Saturday - AADA Divisionals.
Sunday - Special Events.

Special Events:
Tournaments - State, regional, national, and international level events. Prestige is multiplied by the level of the tournament.

Snow Races - Held during the off season when the track is covered with snow and ice. Snowmobiles often compete in this event. Prestige is doubled.

Night Races - Track lighting is turned off for this event. Vehicles must use their headlights or a driving aid (radar, infrared, etc.). Races are held by division and the driving aid used. Prestige is tripled.

Food Races - A carryover from Russian dueling, participants are given a chance to race in a low-division vehicle (div. 5 to 20). The winner of the food race gets 2d6 x 100 lbs. of food. Persons winning two or more races is moved up to the amateur and then professional level of this race. Normal prestige.
