Metropolitan Motors
Division 60 Vehicles

Shrapnel

While a civilian vehicle, the Metropolitan's Shrapnel is often used by police groups for crowd control.  It is primarily a ped hunter, and has also been used against cycle gangs.  Still, full vehicles can't take the Shrapnel lightly.  IT does mount a turreted rocket launcher, and even without it, its flechette guns can easily take out a tire or two.
Shrapnel : Van w/CA frame, extra-heavy 6-wheel chassis, heavy suspension, super power plant w/PC & SC, 6 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back,. driver, gunner,  RL in universal 3-space turret w/extra magazine (w/rotary magazine) and magazine switch - HARM RL rockets in RL. Infrared targeting laser in turret, RL rockets in magazine are laser-guided. FG front, FG left, FG right. HDSS back w/tear gas ammo. 10 points CA around each FG, crew, HDSS and PP  Total of seven links. Metal/plastic armor: F4/13, L4/13, R4/13, B4/13, U0/12, T4/13. Angel of Death
Strong and fast with a viscous punch, the Angel of  Death is close the top of the Metropolitan sedan line.  The twin laser serves double duty, both as a very effective weapon in it's own right, and to guide the rockets.  The armor is thick, so the best chance against the vehicle is to ram it. (ID)
Angel Of Death: Sedan w/CA frame, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/ PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt. wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt. wheelguards back,  driver, gunner, turreted TWL, 2 linked laser-guided HRs front w/ LGL to turreted TWL. Blackout
The odd combination of laser-guided rockets and smoke weapons is explained by the fact that the standard model of the vehicle is meant only for the road, where it's speed will leave it's own smoke long behind it.  The various options solve this problem and are made arena worthy in various ways.  The standard arena version makes the guidance system infrared and incidentally increases the armor.  It can be distinguished from the basic option by the lack of front guards.  The divisions 40 option adds a bumper trigger to the ramplate, and dispenses with the laser all together.  The Redout is incendiary but pays for it by a loss in speed. (ID)
Blackout: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/ PC & SC, 4 SB solid radial tires, 4 10-pt. FP wheelguards, 4 10-pt. Accel. 5, top speed 90,  HC; 3 6,595 lbs. $33,390.

Brimstone
With no fewer than six incendiary machine guns on the front,  the brimstone can light many vehicles on fire.  Most of the armor is stacked up on the front as well, lending itself to a fighter-pilot style of attack, despite the turret.  (ID)
Brimstone: Luxury w/CA frame, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires. 2 10-pt wheelhubs front. 2 10-pt. wheelguards back, driver, gunner, RL w/icendiary rockets in turret.  6 MGs front w/icendiary ammo. 5 FcD (1 B, 2 L, 2R) 1 SkD front, 4 links for dischargers, HRSWC for driver to RL.  HRSWC for gunner to MGs. Crazy 8
Built for Basil Martindale when he was going to compete in a stock race on a short figure-eight race. Thus, despite its light armor, it has  a ramplate and is made for a brutal-close-up match.  In it's debut, Martindale's thin side armor did let him down, but he model went into production anyway, people were attracted to a full-combat oriented car which could go zero to 60 in 2.4 seconds. (ID)
Crazy 8: Luxury,  extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, 400 CID IC engine w/BP & TH, variable pitch turbo-supercharger. Five gallon dueling gas tank, 4 SB FP solid tires,  2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back. Accel. 20, top speed 137.5,  HC 3;  6,599 lbs., $47,854.

Ghostmaker
The Gostmaker is a strict dueling vehicle, made for the arena.  The firepower is not long-lived, using single shot rockets and twin variable firing rocket pods.   The good armor is solid on all sides, leaving no real weak-spot on the vehicle, except for a lack of sustained dropped weapons, and the CA frame's weakness to rams.  The Ghostmaker R is made for the road, and sacrifices the guidance for dropped weapons and even thicker armor. (ID)
Ghostmaker: Luxury w/CA frame,  extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/PC & SC, 4 FP solid tires, 2 10-pt FP wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt FP wheelguards back, driver, 2 linked VFRPs front (each w/ rotary magazine w/24 guided, 6 unguided rockets), 2 linked AP HRs back, AP HR left, AP HR right. Huntsmaster
The Huntsmaster series was Cajun Combat Motors' flagship the way the Warhammer was for Lake, and was also pushed aside for the Metropolitan Series.  The combination of a literally classic weapons layout with very heavy armor, amazing performance, and lots of extras were irresistible to high-ticket duelists.  The options all modernize the weapons systems, and are usually slightly better deals.  Metropolitan has announced plans to add several more options onto the series. (ID)
Huntsmaster Streamlined Sedan, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/PC & SC, 4 SB FP solid radials, 2 10-pt. FPRP hubs front, 2 10-pt FPRP wheelguards back, driver, 2 linked MGs front w/explosive ammo, OJ and SS linked back, spoiler, airdam, safety ejection seat w/parachute. HRSWC for driver to MGs. No-paint windshield. Sloped FPRP armor: F50, L37, R37, B50, T9, U10. Accel. 10, top speed 142.5, HC 4/5 @ 60+; 6,112 lbs.,  $53,446.

    Huntsmaster V: replace OJ w/ FOJ. 6,117 lbs., $54,121.
Huntsmaster VI: replace OJ and SS w/ HDSS and SD Armor: Remove 20 points of armor. 6,117 lbs., $52,356.

Imperial
Meant for use in cities with weapon fire on the streets more than the arena, the Imperial is a high-ticket tire shooter.  The standard version is rarely seen in the arena, despite it's thick armor due and the fact that it allowed good armament for the crew. The Imperial II is a taxi/delivery vehicle for rather dangerous areas.  (ID)
Imperial: Sedan, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt FP wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, driver, gunner, pulse TwL front, HDOJ back linked to SD w/explosive spikes. 9 IcDs - each linked to rear weapons. HRSWC - gunner to TwL. FP armor: F45, L35, R35, B45, T12, U12. Accel. 10, top speed 130,  HC 3; 6,116 lbs., $42,499.
Imperial II: replace HDOJ w/SD w/explosive spikes left. Move other SD right. Add 2 passengers. Remove 27 points of armor. 6,118 lbs $41,227.

Phantom
Almost as soon as x-ray lasers were introduced as a weapons system, the Phantom was introduced to take advantage of it.  The frame was lightened to make room for the heavy main weapon, but it did allow for a significant amour of armor.  The rear dropped weapons can make things difficult for other lasers in the arena common in the division as the x-ray laser is rare anywhere.  The front end, with the armor molded around the cooling fins of the HXL is obvious. (ID)
Phantom: Luxury w/CA frame, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, driver, HXL front, HDPS back, SS left and right, 5 FcD (2 left, 2 right, 1 back), 5 SkD (1 front, 2 top, 2 underbody), 4 links among dropped weapons. HRSWC for driver to HXL. 10 points of CA for driver and power plant (together). Improved fire extinguisher, no-paint windshield, airdam. Polished metal/plastic armor: F5/15, L5/15, R5/15, B5/15, T0/10, U0/10. Accel.10, top speed 122.5,  HC 3/4 @ 60+; 6,600 lbs., $57,400.

Ray
The firepower from the front of this car is withering, and the turret allows and accurate addition in the form of guided micromissiles.  The armor is adequate overall, though too light for it's division, and the roll cage is of little help.  The Ray can be in extreme danger if an opponent neutralizes it with smoke and goes after its' thin armor. (ID)
Ray: Luxury w/CA frame, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelshubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, driver, gunner, 2 linked TwLs front, LL and MML linked in turret w/LGL for MML rockets. SD w/explosive spikes back. HRSWC for driver to LL, HRSWC for gunner to TwLs, IFE, roll cage. Armor: F29, L24, R24, B24, T24, U24. Accel. 10, top speed 122.5,  HC 3; 6,600 lbs., $59,630.

Sunrazor
Cars which can reach 60 in 4 seconds from a dead stop, and which can go over 200 mph rarely mount much armor, and rarely are this heavily armed either.  The weapons would often be considered too light, and weak against smoke, but speed is the Sunrazor's game, and it plays it very well. (ID)
    Sunrazor: Streamlined Luxury w/CA frame, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, thundercat PP w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 5-pt wheelhubs front, 2 5-pt wheelguards back, driver, gunner, Laser front, MD back. 2 HRSWC, IFE. Armor: F60, L35, R35, B60, U12, T10. Accel. 15, top speed 212.5, HC 3; 6,600  lbs., $57,390.

Vagabond

The Vagabond was a custom job for Jim and Theresa Marston in their unsuccessful attempt to go cross country in a lighter single vehicle.  (They had to beat a van).  They failed but survived, and now use Vagabonds exclusively in the message service that they bought after gaining prestige in the attempt.  It is not meant for the arena, but it's armor and ammo supply can outlast most out there, and it's speed can let it disengage. (ID)
Vagabond: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport PP w/PC & SC, 4 SB FP solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, driver, gunner, MG w/extra magazine in turret, smart linked to MG w/extra magazine front, FOJ w/extra magazine back, anti-lock braking system, 2 HRSWCs to smart link, IFE, LD radio. Radar linked to radar detector and radar jammer, surge protector, spoiler, airdam. Polished metal/FP plastic armor: F6/0, L6/0, R6/0, B6/0, T6/0, U0/26. Accel.10, top speed 122.5, HC3/4 @ 60+; 6,597 lbs., $46,090.
