Metropolitan Motors
Division 35 and 40 Vehicles

Division 35

3rd Degree
A road-cargo vehicle for those not interested in taking salvage, the 3rd Degree avoids both dropped weapons usually found on cargo-vehicles, and the turret usually used on station wagons.  The sides are weak, and unarmed, but it can carry a quarter-ton of cargo.
    3rd Degree: Station Wagon, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/ PC & SC,  4 solid tires, driver, 2 10-pt FP hubs front, 2 10-pt FP guards back, FT back, VMG front w/icendiary ammo,  hi-res targeting computer, FP airdam.  FP Armor: F 40, L25, R25, B40, T17, U17. Cargo capacity - 7 spaces, 500 lbs. Accel 10, top speed 130 (w/o cargo, 122.5 fully loaded), HC 3/4 @ 60+; 6,100lbs. $31,160.

Da Vinci
The cluster of paint-using weapons works similar to the smoke on many vehicles, though not lasting as long, which has brought a degree of disfavor to the weapons system, and has caused some Da Vinci's to be modified.  The division 30 option loses a large amount of accuracy, but gives the dropped weapons package a better layout and gains a degree of armor. Either version is fast.
Da Vinci: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, driver, 2 10-pt hubs front, 2 10-pt guards back. VMG in turret smart linked to VMG front, HDPS front, 4 PS (back left corner, back right corner, left, right), 10 paint dischargers,  hi-res targeting computer, fire extinguisher, 4 links, no-paint windshield.  Metal/plastic armor: F 4/8, L4/7, R4/7, B4/7, T 4/7,  U0/10. Accel. 10, top speed 122.5, HC 3; 6,600 lbs $33,420.
Division 30: Remove all weapons. Add RL in turret smart linked to RL front. HDPS left linked to HDPS right, side HDPSs linked to HDPS rear.  Remove SC from power plant and decrease all guards and hubs to 5 pts each. Add 67 pts plastic armor. top speed 115.  $26,810

Ice On Fire
The idea of combining incendiary weapons with ice-using dropped weapons has always been fraught with peril.  Flame or even burning wrecks can melt the ice.  One of the few vehicles to attempt this is the aptly named Ice On Fire.  In this case, the incendiary angle was reduced to a single rocket launcher.  Is sometimes seen as a tail-end Charlie as well.  The armor tends to be thin for the division, but its speed allows it to disengage.
Ice On Fire: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, driver, 2 10-pt. FP wheelguards back, 2 10-pt FP wheelhubs front, RL w/icendiary ammo (and rotary magazine) in turret, TL in turret, LGL for seven rockets. HDID left and right - linked, ID rear linked to HDIDs, fire extinguisher. LR metal/FP plastic armor: F4/18, L4/18, R4/18, B4/18, U0/7. Accel 10, top speed 122.5,  HC3; 6,600 lbs $33,280.

Slick Midnight
Slick Midnight from Metropolitan is primarily designed to trip up the opposition.  The front-mounted twin laser (with good electronics) can easily knock of a tire, and the oil/ice combo can be equally damaging, especially to a car hampered by a missing wheel.  If all else fails, there is a solid ramplate as well, with the speed to back it up.
Slick Midnight: Sedan, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC and SC, 4 solid tires, driver, gunner,  2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt. wheelguards back, TwL front,. ID and OJ linked back, PD back HRSWC - gunner to TwL, spoiler.  LR metal/plastic armor: F5/20(ramplate), L4/10, R4/10, B5/13, T1/1, U0/10. Accel. 10, top speed 130, HC 3/4 @ 60+; 6,114 lbs., $32,861.

Steelknife
Carbon aluminum frames and ramplates are a risky combination.  Because of this, the Metropolitan Steelknife has laserguided rockets, a machine gun, and an explosive spikedropper.  Armor is heavy, espcecially on the front.  The division 30 option is less accurate in its firepower, but the two versions are identical until you read the nameplate.
Steelknife: Mid-Size w/CA frame, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, driver, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, MG in turret, TL front, 2 HRs front. LGLs for HRs, SD rear w/explosive spikes, improved fire extinguisher, targeting computer. Metal/plastic armor: F11/16(ramplate); L6/16, R6/16, B6/18, U0/16, T6/16. Accel 10, top speed 135, HC 3; 5,753 lbs., $34,212.
Division 30 Option: Remove PC & SC from power plant. Remove one point of non-front plastic armor. Top speed 122.5; 5,745 lbs.,  $29,996.

Stunner
Ultra-modern in design, the Stunner has very good speed, and good handling for a car with wheelguards all around.  Hard to hit in the first place, the heavy defense makes it a tough nut to crack.  The laser is accurate and strong, as long as no one pops smoke on the Stunner.
Stunner: Streamlined Mid-Size, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 SB solid tires, driver, 4 10-pt wheelhubs, 4 10-pt wheelguards, Laser in turret, IcD rear, SWC, active suspension. Sloped armor: F42, L25, R25, B25, T43, U19. Accel. 10, top speed 147.5, HC 3/4 if front wheelguards are gone; 5,757 lbs., $33,625.

Vandal
Woefully under-armored and even under-armed for a van, the vandal attempts to make up for this problem with extensive component armor and a roll cage.  Still, most division 30 weapons packages can easily breach the van.  The Deluxe model adds a CA frame, and more armor, moving it up to division 40 in the process.  The Elite adds some armor as well, and increases the offensive ability.
Vandal: Van, extra-heavy 6-wheel chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 6 solid tires, driver, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 linked MGs in 3 space turret smart-linked to MG front, PS left and right - linked, SS left and right - linked. Link - PSs to SSs. FcD back, hi-res targeting computer, 10 points component armor each for driver, front MG, turreted MGs, side weapons, and power plant. Roll cage. Metal/plastic armor F4/0, L4/0, R4/0, B4/0, T4/0, U0/8. Accel 5, top speed 115, HC 2; 7,197 lbs., $34,640.
Vandal Deluxe: Frame changed to carbon-aluminum. Remove PC & SC from power plant.  Add 5 points of metal and 46 points of plastic armor.  Top speed 105; 7,191 lbs. $43,745.
Vandal Elite: Frame changed to carbon-aluminum. Replace turreted MGs and component armor w/AC. Remove smart link.  Add HR back. Wheelguards and hubs to FP. LR metal/FP plastic armor: F4/11, L4/11, R4/11, B4/10, T4/10, U0/8. 7,199 lbs., $53,460.

Division 40

Boom Bomb
For a while, there seemed to be a rash of new mid-sizes coming out armed with blast cannons.  Metropolitan's entry into this group was the high-ticket Boom Bomb, which backed up the big gun with a bumper trigger and a stiff ramplate.  Good speed and handling allow for it to be effective as ram design.
Boom Bomb: Mid-Size, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 SB solid radial tires, driver,  2 10-pt FP wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt. FP wheelguards back. BC front, SS back linked to FcD left and FcD right.  Extra link between dischargers. Link - BC to SS, Bumper trigger front to BC, HRSWC, safety seat, no-paint/tinted windows, FP spoiler. FP armor: F50(ramplate), L30, R30, B40, T8, U10.  Accel. 10, top speed 135,  HC 3/4 @ 60+; 5,754 lbs., $35,376.

Brawler
With a big, supercharged engine, the Brawler is able to get up to it's low top speed and get into a position to use it's dropped weapons to cripple it's opponent's so it's relatively weak direct fire weapons can pick off the stragglers.  Armor is sufficiently heavy.
Brawler: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, 200 ci engine w/BP & TH,  VP turbocharger. 5 gallon dueling gas tank,  4 solid tires, driver, gunner, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 linked MG front.  HDFCE left linked to HDFCE right,  MD back, link - MD to HDFCEs, link - BC to linked dropped weapons, improved fire extinguisher, spoiler, airdam.  Metal/plastic armor: F 5/20, L4/20, R4/20, B5/20, T1/4, U1/4. Accel 10/20, top speed 85,  HC 3/4 @60+; 6,600 lbs., $36,914.

Buster
Some people saw the introduction of the Buster by Metropolitan was the return of the true performance sedans using electric powerplants.  The speed and handling, combined with good (if unimaginative) weaponry and thick armor make it a solid combat vehicle as well.  This is despite the fact that for the first six months it was made, Metropolitan only offered it in red, black, silver, and fluorescent yellow.
Buster: Sedan, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 SB solid radial tires, driver, gunner, 2 10-pt FP wheelguards back, 2 10-pt FP wheelhubs front,  2 5-pt FP wheelhubs back,  2 linked MGs front, RL front. OJ back. IcD left linked to IcD right, IcD rear linked to side IcDs, link - OJ to IcDs,  HRSWC - driver to RL, HRSWC - gunner to MGs. FP spoiler & airdam. FP armor: F45, L30, R30, B40, U15, T5.  Accel 10, top speed 130,  HC 4/5 @60+; 6,115 lbs, $35,665.

Guardsman
Literally bristling with guns, the Guardsman manages to pack a wide away of weapons with fairly heavy armor.  By avoiding the turret, it is able to skimp on roof armor.  The back arc is the most dangerous, however, as the front relies mostly on rather inaccurate rockets.  Its speed lets it use that rear arc, however.
Guardsman: Luxury w/CA frame, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, driver, gunner, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 linked MGs front, MFR  front, 2 linked FT back. 1-space REWP left and right each w/jettison joinings (linked), facing front, and w/3 MNRs, three extra links. IFE, 2 ejection seats. Armor: F40, L38, R38, B39, T5, U12.  Accel 10, top speed 110/122.5 when REWPs are ejected,  HC 3;  6,600 lbs, $37,640.

K-14
Originally an experimental design, it caught on and was put into regular production.  The unusual weapons design is helped by the fact that it has bumper triggers on all four sides, allowing the driver to concentrate on the blast cannon with the electronics.
K-14: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, 400 CID engine, 5 gallon dueling gas tank, 4 solid tires, 4 10-pt FP wheelguards,  driver, BC front. MG left, right, and back. 4 bumper triggers (front, left, right, back), HRSWC - driver to BC, FP spoiler. FP armor: F30(ramplate), L38, R38, B39, U11, T8, Accel 10, top speed 117.5,  HC 2/3@60+; 6,600 lbs $38,635.

Rottwieler
A heavy duty combat vehicle often seen in the arena, the Rottwieler from Metropolitan does not have the speed of most of that company's offerings, but makes up for it in brute force.  A cargo model capable of pulling a significant trailer has also become popular.  The vehicles is balanced, with few weak points, except a vulnerability to smoke on the part of the Deluxe and HX options.
Rottwieler: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, 200 CID engine w/BP, TH and variable pitch turbocharger, 5 gallon dueling gas tank, 4 SB solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, driver, gunner, 2 linked RLs front, MG left, MG right, MD and IcD back - linked. Bumper trigger front, left, and right. 10 points of CA each for RLs and crew, 2 hi-res computers, IFE. LR metal/plastic armor: F5/17, L5/15, R5/15, B5/17, T0/10, U0/12. Accel 10,  top speed 85, HC 3; 6,595 lbs. $37,589.
Rottwieler B: Remove RL component armor. Replace RLs with BC w/extra mag and mag switch - 1 load standard, 1 load HESH. Add IcD left and move other to the right. Remove VP and turbocharger, add overdrive. Total of seven links. Accel. 10/5 w/overdrive,  top speed  72.5/92.5 w/overdrive, add 1 point of plastic armor. $39,350.
Rottwieler Deluxe: Hi-res computers to regular targeting computers, remove MGs.  Add targeting laser front, RL ammo changed  to armor-piercing, add extra magazine for each RL (incendiary), all RLs and RL mags have rotary mags, 2 magazine switches. All rockets laser-guided. Typical loadout in each RL and magazine is 5 AP and 5 Incendiary rounds, remove front BT.  Total of seven links, Add 6 points of plastic armor. $43,809.
Rottwieler HX: as Deluxe, but remove MD, add heavy hitch, downgrade tires to standard, remove turbo and VP, add HD transmission.  Add 11 points of armor. Acc 2.5/5, top speed 72.5, HC 3; 6,645 lbs.  $38,550.

Visigoth
A strict dueling camper, the Visigoth has won on many occasions  primarily due to its turreted autocannon and NAPALM.    Its offense is far better than it is defense, as the armor is somewhat thin for its division.
Visigoth: Camper, extra-heavy 6-wheel chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 6 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, driver, gunner, AC in 3-space turret, 2 HRs front, TL front and  LGLs for HRs, MD back w/napalm mines, FcD left and right - each linked to MD, IFE. Armor: F32, R20, L20, B32, U15, T26. Accel 5, top speed 110,  HC 2; 7,800 lbs., $37,450.

Warhammer
The Warhammer has a rather interesting history as a once and future flagship car.  It was the flagship of the Lake Luxury Motors line until the company was merged into Metropolitan Motors, and the Metropolitan itself became the flagship model.  It's blocky styling of the type popular more than 65 years ago belie the fact that it can go from zero to 60 in four seconds, and hit over 200 mph.  Rumors are that the proving grounds of Metropolitan Motors is littered with the hulls failed variations, with only the basic weaponless ramcar worked.
    Warhammer: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, thundercat power plant w/PC & SC, overdrive, 4 FP solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 4 10-pt wheelhubs, driver, active suspension, IFE, spoiler, airdam, HD brakes. Armor: F50(ramplate), L24, R24, B24, T2, U12. Accel. 15/7.5 w/overdrive, top speed 192.5/212.5 w/ovedrive, HC 3/4 @ 60+; 6,600 lbs $38,520.
