Division 30 Vehicles

Burning Specialty
Originally a custom job for the team of Bryan and Barbara Alstead, it was made into a factory model as the usual part of the deal.  It cannot fire into the front arc, but anyone attempting to follow the vehicle is likely to be ignited in short order.  Because of this, it has also seen extensive road use as a tail-end charlie.  If confronted with this vehicle, get in  front and stay there.
    Burning Specialty: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 FP solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, driver, gunner,  FT in turret.  3 MDs (1 L, 1 R, 1 B) w/napalm mines w/3 links.  HRSWC - gunner to FT,  improved fire extinguisher. Metal/FP plastic armor F5/4, L5/4, R5/4, T5/4, U1/4, B5/4.  Accel, top speed 122.5, HC 3;  6,600 lbs, $28,460.

City Slicker
The standard version of the City Slicker is primarily made for convoy duty as a tail-end charlie, or for some use in running battles in urban areas.  Its armor is slightly thin except on the back.  Instead of re-arranging the armor, the Arena Slicker uses a carbon-aluminum frame to pile the armor on, and also uses guided rockets, moving it up a division.
City Slicker: Luxury,  extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt. wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back,  driver, VMG in turret.  HDID and HDOJ rear linked, SD (w/explosive spikes) left linked to rear weapons, HRSWC - driver to VMG, fire extinguisher. Metal/plastic armor F2/16, L3/14, R3/14, B7/14, U0/11, T8/14.  Accel 10, top speed 122.5,  HC 3;  6,595 lbs $29,960.
Arena Slicker: replace VMG w/ RL and TL linked w/ LGL.  Add CA frame, 104 points of plastic armor. $43,490

Coupe De Grace
When Raymond Candolier asked for a dueling vehicle in the high-middle divisions that would work to take out cars already damaged by others, the result was the Coupe De Grace.  Its roll-cage gives it some protection from rams, but overall, its armor is quite thin.  The Coupe De Grace II sacrifices a degree of accuracy and speed for a bit more armor.  Usually, it can use its speed to engage and disengage quickly. (ID)
Coupe De Grace:  Sedan, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 4 10-pt. wheelhubs, 2 10-pt. wheelguards back, driver, VMG in turret, 2 linked MMLs front, MD back, IFE, targeting computer, spoiler, airdam, roll cage. LR metal/plastic armor: F4/2, L4/1, R4/1, B4/2, T3/1, U1/1. Accel 10, top speed 130,  HC 3/4 @ 60+;  6,112lbs  $27,034
Coupe De Grace II: Remove super conductors from power plant. Replace VMG w/RR. Add 12 pts plastic armor top. 122.5 mph 6,120 lbs $23,400

Habnin Special
A quick custom job, which still bears the name of Joseph Habnin who commissioned the original, the Habnin Special was made to work with Habnin's dueling style of running battles at speed.  It's good acceleration and top speed, along with reliable weaponry connected to good electronics, make up for the rather thin armor. (ID)
Habnin Special: Mid-size, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, driver, 2 linked MGs front, 2 linked MGs in turret smart linked to front MGs, targeting computer, SD back w/explosive spikes, spoiler  Armor: F28, L28, R28, B28, T28, U14. Accel, top speed 135, HC 3/4 @ 60+; 5,757 lbs. $27,734.

Metal Fist
The original Metal Fist was made by an engineer and a boardmember of Metropolitan motors goofing off on their off time with the shell of a rejected Tomboy model that featured an AT gun instead of rockets.  The complex discharger layout and roll cage work well on defense.  Armor is heavy, and the AT has a bumper trigger, but the expected ramplate is absent.
    Metal Fist: Pickup, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 6 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 6 5-pt wheelhubs, driver, AT front w/sabot ammo, bumper trigger front for AT, 3 FcD (L, R, B), IcD (U), 3 OD (L, R, U), 3 SkD (F, 2 T), 5 links for dischargers, fire extinguisher, airdam, rollcage . Metal/FP plastic armor: F12/2, L10/1, R10/1, B10/2, U1/1, T1/1. Accel. 5, top speed 110,  HC 2/3 @ 60+, 7,793 lbs $25,992.

Nomad
A cargo-hauler from a company better known for it's straight dueling vehicles, the Nomad is solid for road use, despite slightly weak armor.  The ramplate, tough turreted weaponry and adequate defensive package let it function well on it's own, though it also works in a convoy.  Like most Metropolitan designs with its usual souped-up sport powerplant, it's fast, especially without cargo.
Nomad: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 SB solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 4 10-pt wheelhubs, driver, gunner, 2 linked HMGs in turret, SD back w/explosive spikes, SWC - gunner to HMGs. Cargo capacity - 6 spaces, 338lbs.  Armor: F35 (ramplate), L21, R21, B21, T21, U13. Accel 10, top speed 130/122.5 fully loaded,  HC 3; 6,262 lbs., $28,140.

Rocket Roller
More of a concept vehicle than a normal design, the Rocket Roller has a huge first punch with an enormous blast, but afterwards, it's down to it's dual flaming oil jets.  It gained notoriety and a degree of popularity when there was film of one stopping an advancing bike gang by utterly destroying the first bike and catching several others in the blast.  After that, it does have the metropolitan speed to escape. (ID)
Rocket Roller: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, driver, FOJ back left corner linked to FOJ back right corner, 18 linked MNRs front, ABS, HRSWC - driver to MNRs, no-paint windshield,  spoiler, airdam. Metal/plastic armor F5/35(ramplate), L5/22, R5/22, B5/22, U0/8, T0/8. Accel 10, top speed 122.5,  HC 3/4 @ 60+; 6,600 lbs., $29,115.

Spiked Punch
Designed not as an arena vehicle, but as a cycle killer, the spiked punch can fill an area with a huge number of spikes, most of them explosive.  The standard option has only a MG to finish off the wounded, though if in division 30, the driver usually carries good personal weapons.  The Division 25 option adds offensive strength of a sabot-loaded anti-tank gun, and a bumper trigger. (ID)
Spiked Punch: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC and SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, driver,  MG front,  5 SDs (L, R, B, back left corner, back right corner) -  all SD's have explosvie spikes - 5 links.  SG front, IcD back. Metal/plastic armor: F5/30 , L5/30, R5/30, B5/25, U0/12, T0/9. Accel 10, top speed 122.5,  HC 3; 6,600 lbs., $25,195.
Spiked Punch 25: replace SG and MG w/AT front.  Add BT front.  remove 3 pts metal and 10 points plastic armor.  $24,745

Timothy
Made as a gift to duelist Timothy Gryier, in order to encourage him to take Metropolitan on as a sponsor.  It is a straight arena design, with an adequate front offensive array, and a brutal dropped weapons package. Much of the vehicle is designed to attack the weak tires and underbody of the opponent.  The un-armed sides are the only real weak spot. (ID)
    Timothy: Luxury, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension, sport power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, 2 10-pt wheelguards back, 2 10-pt wheelhubs front, driver, gunner. 2 linked HMGs front, 3 MDs (left, right, back) - 4 links, SWC - gunner to HMGs, IFE, spoiler. Armor:  F32, L25, R25, B33, U12, T17. Accel, top speed 122.5, HC 3/4 @ 60+; 6,600 lbs., $28,130.
