Metropolitan Motors
Division 10 Vehicles
Vortex
The original Vortex was a clumsy division 5 midsize that was one of the
very few non-custom division 5 cars made by Cajun Motors before the merger.
That model had been highly unsuccessful, and was discontinued, but he Vortex
re-surfaced as a much more solid division 10 car. The only front weapons
are single shot rockets, which do however, deliver a nasty punch. The
Vortex II though with no ramplate can give a nasty first ram, but then only
the rear flamethrower is left.
Vortex: Compact, extra-heavy chassis, heavy suspension,
medium power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, driver, 2 10pt hubs front,
2 10 pt guards back. FT back. 2 HRs front. Armor: F43, L35, R35, B43, T10,
U22. Accel. 5, top speed 95, HC 3; 4,438 lbs., $9,194.
Vortex II: Remove SC. Link HRs, add BT front to
HRs. Add SWC for FT. Remove five points of armor. 4,408 lbs., top speed
90; $9,229.
Woodstock
Rarely seen on the road, and illegal in AADA duels, the Woodstock is an
odd, specialty design whose only offense comes from any hand weapons.
It does, however, support an impressive ramplate for its division. (ID)
Woodstock: Subcompact, extra-heavy chassis, heavy
suspension, small power plant w/PC & SC, 4 solid tires, driver, 2 passengers.
5 PD (2 L, 2 R, 1 B), 5 SkD (1 F, 2T, 2U), 12 links among dischargers. Armor
