Special Events:
All Star Shoot Out - The top twenty finishers of the year fight it out for
the top spot. Held in October, the exact conditions of this dueltrack event
is up to the promoter's whims. Prestige is tripled.
Four Points - Four classes of vehicles participate in this event, each at
their own starting line. This usual involves a mix of cars, trikes, cycles,
and sprint cars. Hovercraft up to large can be used as well. Combat begins
when all vehicles cross the first start line after their starting one. Prestige
is doubled.
Tournaments - Local, state, and regional level events are held at the Lone
Star. Prestige is multiplied by the tournament level (local x1, state x2,
and regional x3).
Cowboy Roundup - Two classes of vehicles start at opposite starting lines.
One side is the cowboys and the other the cattle. Cattle vehicles outnumber
cowboy vehicles by 2 to 1. The cowboys must catch as many cattle as they can.
This is done by scoring at least 10 points of direct-fire damage to one armor
location on a cattle vehicle to consider it 'captured'. Captured vehicles
decelerate at the maximum allowed safe deceleration and come to a stop. Cattle
are small, unarmed vehicles with all their armor on the front, back, and
sides and equipped with roll cages (if applicable). The winner is the cowboy
that catches the most cattle. Prestige is doubled.
