Body Styles
Body Size Cost Weight Max Load Spaces Armor Cost/Weight
Midsize Limo $1,200 2,400 lbs. 7,200 22(+3) $32/13
Sedan Limo $1,400 2,550 lbs. 7,650 27(+6) $36/15
Luxury Limo $1,600 2,700 lbs. 8,250 32(+9) $40/17

Standard equipment includes a long-distance radio and intercom system between the driver and passengers.

A limousine can have suspension upgrades (all have base HC 1) and chassis modifications. Use a 1/2" x 1 1/2" counter to represent a limo on a game sheet. Targeting a limo from the front or rear is at a -1 penalty, while targeting from the side is a +1 bonus. A limo has six armor locations as cars. Acceleration, top speed, and range is calculated the same as cars. They cannot mount a tank gun that is 75mm and greater, but can use military weaponry smaller than a 75mm tank gun. Due to the heavy weights of these vehicles, it is recommended that designers install a super, sports, or thundercat power plant (with upgrades if neccessary, though a medium power plant with a HD transmission would make for a weird, but workable, vehicle) or use gas engines..

Passengers take up 200 lbs. and three spaces. Safety seats cost an additional $200 per passenger. This represents stylized contouring and padding.

Limousines with heavy chassis must be equipped with a third axle ($100) and six tires to provide proper weight distribution. Limos with extra-heavy chassis must be equipped with a fourth axle ($100 more) and eight tires. HC is lowered by 1.

Sedan and luxury-sized limos can be equipped with two one-space turrets or one two or three-space turret. With two turrets one is considered mounted top front and the other top rear. One turret must be specified to be "higher' than the other, same as for buses. When the top armor is breached roll randomly to see which top turret weapon is hit first. A Midsize limo can only mount one turret up to 3 spaces in size. All three types with one turret is considered to have it mounted on the top center.

Any mauevers above D3 add an additional D1 penalty. For example, a D4 turn will incur a D5 penalty.
