Kirk Speedway

Based on the Iowa City Speedway, the Kirk runs a regular season from April to October. Featured vehicles are cars, racing bodies, cycles, trikes, hovercraft, and snowmobiles. The Kirk Speedway is part of the Canadian Crown Circuit.

Track Features:
The outer walls are 15 feet high and have 150 DP. Inner walls are 3 feet high and have 100 DP. On the track the surface is paved and has a -1D banking for the majority of its length. Grandstands hold 40,000.

Defenses and Track Rules:
The five universal turrets house x-ray lasers and have100 points of armor.
    All dropped weapons are banned. Direct fire weapons are limited from zero to four spaces, depending on the division and event. Combat begins after one lap is completed. Usual event length is five laps. No temporary speed boosters, turrets, rocket platforms, and (R)EWPs allowed.

Schedule:
Monday - Closed.
Tuesday - Practice Sessions.
Wednesday - Team Night.
Thursday - Amateur Night.
Friday - Time Trials/Challenge Night.
Saturday - Special Events.

Special Events:
Star Trek related events - Birthdays, anniversaries, and other notable events in the Star Trek universe are celebrated here at the Kirk Speedway. Participants dress up in various Trek costumes and compete in races. Prestige varies depending on the event.

Winter events - With a sufficient coverage of snow and/or ice on the track snowmobiles and suitably-equipped vehicles compete in the winter months on Sundays. Prestige is doubled.
