Kansas Speedway
Topeka, Kansas

Built in 2050 as an enlarged version of the Wichita Speedway. From the onset the Kansas Speedway was designed to be the best speedway in the state. A normal season is run from April to October, featuring cars, cycles, trikes, buses and hovercraft events. The Kansas Speedway is part of the Flashfire Circuit.

Arena Features:
The outer walls are 15 feet high and have 150 DP. Inner walls are 3 feet high and have 75 DP. Garage walls stand 15 feet tall and have 40 DP. The track surface is paved with banking on the back straighaway and turns. On the field is the 60 foot TV tower; its walls have 60 DP. No dropped weapons, turrets, EWPs, REWPs, and temporary speed boosters. Track length is .36 of a mile. Grandstands hold 30,000.

Special Events:
Tournaments - Local, state, and regional level events are held at the Kansas Speedway. Prestige is multiplied by the tournament level (local x1, state x2, and regional x3).

Smallville - Amateur event with stock division 5 or 10 designs. Anyone who wins five Smallville events is called a 'superman'. Double prestige.

Oz - A pro racer (driver +5) takes on a field (6-8) of novice racers (driver +2 at most). The novices must defeat the pro racer to win. Triple prestige.
    The pro racer is called the 'Wicked Witch' while the novices are called 'Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, and Toto'.
