Dragon Arena
Shanghai, Japanese Protectorate Originally built in 2035 and continuously updated the Dragon Arena is often referred to as the "Great Wall" due to its dominate feature. Arena Features: The outer walls are 30 feet high and have 60 DP. Gates are 10 feet high, have 10 DP and will open when rammed. The gates are named for the twelve animals of the Asian zodiac. Grandstands hold 60,000. Arena surfaces are paved. The arena has generators to make fog, smoke, ice and snow to change dueling conditions, usually reserved for special events. The Wall: Dividing the arena in two, the Wall is feet high, indestructible, and has four 22-degree ramps. Defenses: Each universal turret along the perimeter of the arena has 100 points of armor and a different weapon. Numbering starts from northwest (upper left) corner of the arena. 1 - Heavy Flamethrower 2 - Laser 3 - Sonic Cannon 4 - Oil Gun w/Ice Ammo 5 - 2 linked VMGs 6 - Blast Cannon 7 - 2 linked RLs 8 - 2 linked RRs Schedule: Monday - Amateur Night Tuesday - Closed Wednesday - Amateur Night Thursday - Team Night Friday - Challenge Night Saturday - AADA Divisionals Sunday - Special Events Special Events: Dragon's Breath - The arena is filled with smoke or fog, leaving just the top of the wall clear. Duelists can use infrared or radar. Double prestige. Hold the Dragon - The duelist that keeps all others from the top of the wall wins. Triple prestige. Champions - Duelists fight until there's only one left on both sides of the wall. The two survivors then duke it out on top of the wall. Quadruple prestige. Fire and Ice - All arena surfaces are ice-covered and duelists drive flame-based vehicles. The ice is a foot thick and has 10 DP per quarter inch square. Ice dueling modifications are allowed. Double prestige. Ice Dueling - As above, but all permitted weapons can be used. Double prestige. Snow Duels - Cars, trikes, cycles, and snowmobiles duke it out in four-inch deep snow.
