Crusher Arena
Phoenix, Arizona
This arena is located next to the Boneyard Salvage Company in Phoenix, one
of the largest vehicle salvage yards in the Southwest. Jack "Crusher" Smilely
built the arena after becoming big in the salvage business. Centered on an
actual auto crusher, any duelist pushing another into the crusher earns double
prestige. The arena features car, cycle, and trike dueling. Part of the Hot
Asphalt Circuit, the Crusher Arena runs a regular season from March to October.

Arena Features:
Walls stand 25 feet high and have 50 DP. Gates are 15 feet high and have
10 DP. Gates will open when rammed. The grandstands surround the arena and
hold 20,000 fans. There's a bar, called The Slagheap, in the southwest corner
of the arena property. A special club meets at this bar. Called the Quinns,
this club is composed of duelists that have fallen into the Crusher and survived.
Arena Defenses:
There are four VMG-equipped universal turrets, located one each in the corners.
These are used to defend the arena from air attack, but also to stop gross
misconduct by duelists.
Auto Crusher:
The Crusher is 10 feet high and has four 30-degree ramps leading up to it.
The Crusher will activate when anything over 500 lbs falls into it. Any crewmembers
in vehicles have three turns to get out of the Crusher. If they don't, then
the vehicle will be crushed into a cube. The process takes eight turns, doing
50 points of damage per armor location (tires, regardless of type, are destroyed
by turn five in this process). Vehicles larger than cars are only partially
crushed, depending on whether the front or back half has fallen into the crusher.
