This arena was designed by Doc of Doc's Custom Specialties of New Omaha.
Originally intended for downtown New Omaha, this arena was turned down
by the city council when the Carter Lake Aqua Arena was opened earlier
that year. Doc looked elsewhere to have his arena. Luckily, the Battle
Amusement Park and Dueling Complex had just opened up and was looking for
new arena designs. The Central Park Aqua Arena became Battle's only water-based
dueling facility.
The Arena is open year-round and features boat,
hovercraft, and aqua bike dueling. During the winter ice dueling is offered.
The only time the Arena was closed was during the Battle Riots and Nebraska
Civil War of 2041. It's part of the Flashfire Circuit.
Arena Notes
The outer walls are 30 feet high and have 45 DP. The two buildings
have 20 DP walls. Eight gates are along the outer arena walls. The deepest
spot of the arena (approximately 30 feet) is near the center. Defenses
consist of security boats and fresh-water piranhas. The best advice is
to stay out of the water if you can.

Arena Events
Races - The boats (or other aqua vehicles) start between Gate 6 and
the Island. The racers go clockwise around the Island. No dropped weapons
& turrets are allowed in the races. The racer who finishes with the
most laps in the specified time limit wins.
Ice Dueling - In the winter season the arena lake freezes over. Cars modified for ice dueling compete in regular divisional and special events from late November to early March.
