Boston Speedway

Built in 2051, the Boston Speedway (nicknamed The Hex) runs a regular season from April to October. Featured vehicle events involve cars, cycles, trikes, racing bodies and hovercraft. The speedway is part of the Atlantic Armor Circuit.

Track Features:
Outer walls are 15 feet high and have 200 DP. Inner walls are 3 feet high and have 100 DP. The TV Tower is 60 feet high, has 60 DP, and is armed with 4 universally turreted HVMGs. Pits and garages have 15' walls and 60 DP. Grandstand seating is 30,000. Track surface is paved with -1D bank, taking the majority of the track and the banking boundaries are indicated by the broken red lines. Track length is .358 of a mile.

Track Rules:
No dropped weapons, turrets, EWP/REWPs. Combat starts after the first lap is completed. Usual race length is five laps. No temporary speed boosters (nitrous oxide, ISCs, etc.).

Schedule:
Monday - Closed.
Tuesday - Practice Sessions.
Wednesday - Challenge Night.
Thursday - Amateur Night.
Friday - Time Trials.
Saturday - Special Events.
Sunday - AADA Divisionals.

Special Events:
Tournaments - Local, state, and regional level events are held at the Boston Speedway. Prestige is multiplied by the tournament level (local x1, state x 2, and regional x 3).

Salem's Lot - Night racing with driving aids (headlights, infrared, or radar). Prestige is doubled.

Hexed - Six racers go six laps in division 15 or 30 vehicles with three spaces of direct fire weapons. Triple prestige.
