Constructed in 2035 in northwest New Omaha, the arena was the home of
the Omaha Metropolitan Enforcement Network (OMEN) autodueling group for
several years. Soon after it was completed the design was copied for the
Colorado State Arena, but with smaller jumps. No design initiatives lawsuit
was filed due to that minor change. The Carter Lake Arena, however, was
licensed to use the Bill Grush Memorial Arena design. Since its inception
the arena has been part of the Flashfire Circuit.
Bill Grush is one of the founding supporters of
autodueling in New Omaha. He helped NOVA get started and lead initiatives
to have city laws amended to allow dueling in New Omaha city limits.
Arena Notes:
Outer walls are 60 DP and are 22.5 feet high. Gates are 20 DP. Jumps
stand 45 feet high and are 40 degrees in elevation. Arena defenses consist
of corner-mounted recoilless rifles.
Arena Schedule:
Monday - Closed.
Tuesday - Amateur Night.
Wednesday - Practice Sessions.
Thursday - Team Events.
Friday - Challenge Night.
Saturday - AADA Divisionals.

Special Events:
Jumping Spree - Each duelist must complete a jump over each of four
ramps, then exit the arena through the same gate they've entered. The first
who completes this task wins, despite the number of kills involved. Prestige
is doubled.
Over and Thru - Each duelist must complete one jump, then go in-between
the ramps. After doing this twice they exit the arena via their entry gate.
The duelist that completes this task wins. Again, the number of kills
won't matter. Prestige is doubled.
