Built as a copy of the Playland Speedway in Council Bluffs, the Battle
Speedway was redesigned in 2049 to its current configuration. The
Speedway runs off-road races from April to October featuring cars,
cycles, trikes, and sprint cars. Hovercraft events are sometimes held
as well as winter races. The Speedway is part of the Flashfire
Circuit.

Track Details:
The track is composed packed dirt with no banking, and is considered an
off-road surface. Outer walls are 15 feet high and have 100 DP. Inner
walls are 3 feet high and have 50 DP. The outside track is .45 of a
mile while the inner track is .51 of a mile. The inner section of track
is opened for roughly half of the races. Garages are 15 feet high and
have 40 DP. Standing 60 feet high, the TV tower has 50 DP. Grandstand
seating is 40,000.
Special Events:
Battle Racing Challenge - A racer competes in one racing event at each
of the Battle racetracks in one day. After each race the racer's reflex
drops by one. Prestige is quadrupled for any racer that competes in the
challenge. The race must have cars ready for all three races. Tracks
involved are the Battle Speedway, Battle Racing Complex, and Battle
Drag Strip.
Tournaments - Local, state, and regional level events are held at the
Battle Speedway. Prestige is multiplied by the tournament level (local
x1, state x2, and regional x3).
In & Out - An even lap event (6, 8 or 10 laps). Where ever-other
lap
is run through the inner track,while the other lap is run on the outer
track. Any racer that ignores this rule is
disqualified. Prestige is doubled.
Winter Events - November to February the Speedway runs hovercraft,
snowmobile and snow races on Saturdays and Sundays. Prestige is doubled.
