Atlantis Arena
New Providence Island, Bahamas
The arena was built in 2050 as part of the Atlantis Hotel complex on
Paradise Island. Complete with an Atlantian motif, the arena has a
central pyramid jump. Open all year, the arena features a regular
season from April to October with paved and water events. Vehicle
events include cars, cycles, trikes, boats, aquabikes and hovercraft.
The Atlantis Arena is part of the Royal Crown Circuit.

Arena Features:
The outer walls are 15 feet high and have 60 DP. Gates stand 10 feet
high, have 10 DP, and will open when rammed. Grandstands capacity is
10,000. The pyramid jump has four, 45-degree jumps and has infinite DP.
The arena can be flooded to a depth of 5 feet. Due to pumps the ramps
can be covered by a foot of water.

Special Events:
Save Atlantis - One team defends the central pyramid from the other.
The defenders win if they hold off all other teams from making a jump.
Prestige is doubled.
That Sinking Feeling - Starts as a regular duel but on the second turn
the water is turned on. Every fifth turn a quarter inch (3.75 game
feet) of water will fill the arena. The duelists are not informed of
this, which would make things interesting. Also, the flooding can occur
in any event. Prestige is tripled.
Races - A race course is set up on the arena floor. Dropped weapons are
banned and the weapon limit is imposed. Normal race length is five
laps. Prestige is doubled.
